Are you an HR professional looking to make a real impact in a global and innovative organization? Johnson Controls is seeking a proactive and strong HR Advisor to join our Denmark team in Aarhus.
As an HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting our employees and managers in all HR-related matters. You will be responsible for providing advice, guidance, and support, and ensuring we are in compliance with local regulations and company standards. You will play a key role in driving HR initiatives, and will help to develop and implement HR policies and procedures locally in Denmark.
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager for the region, you will be part of a global HR team, where we work closely together and share best practices.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, including personnel matters, organizational changes, sick leave etc. and act as a trusted advisor in all HR-related areas.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company and oversee offboarding procedures for departing employees.
Union Collaboration: Communicate and liaise with union representatives, ensuring compliance with collective agreements and fostering positive relationships.
HR Administration: Manage employee records, contracts, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Collaboration: Regularly engage with our HR team to share best practices. Assist with ongoing HR initiatives and contribute to process improvements.
We are looking for:
Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, HR law, Organization, leadership or similar
3–5 years’ experience in a similar HR role, ideally in a global company
Strong communication skills in Danish and English, both written and spoken
A team-oriented and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently and are fine with remote leadership
You thrive as a close partner to the business and are motivated by making our workplace the best it can be for both managers and employees.
It’s an advantage if you have some experience from a technical industry and Danish labour laws
