We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Aarhus. This position is responsible for connecting our technical data platform, future integration platform, and business requirements, with the goal of transforming data into useful and sustainable data products and supporting colleagues across the company in working effectively with data. At Stibo Systems, data is central to operations, decision-making, and value creation throughout the organization. Our Data & Digitalization (D&D) team ensures that internal data is reliable, accessible, and relevant for all functions.
The Role
As Senior Data Analyst, you’ll act as the link between our business stakeholders and our internal data engineering & integration team. This role offers the opportunity to be involved early in this process and contribute to ongoing organizational change as we build the foundation for the next generation of business decisions and reporting at Stibo Systems.
You’ll be diving into the business’ use cases, help them identify the right data products, investigate data structures, understand how our backend is built, and help ensure that business requirements are translated into sustainable, governed, and high-quality data products.
You’ll also play a key role in shaping our data enablement strategy — helping define how different user groups work with different data products, and help making our governance model come to live.
What you’ll do:
Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the D&D technical team following the data products throughout the entire lifecycle.
Translate business needs into structured data requirements, semantic models and other relevant data products; advising them and translating it into clear technical requirements.
Work with our Microsoft Fabric-based data platform and future Microsoft Azure Integration Services-based data integration platform, contributing to its evolution and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Contribute to building and refining data models based on Kimball’s principles and best practice data modeling techniques.
Take great part in designing the team’s Operating Model for delivering and managing our platforms and data products.
Sustain the business enabling them to work responsibly and actively with data, and take ownership of our Enablement Strategy for sustaining our different User Groups.
Work actively on anchoring our governance framework and sustain the business in upholding their responsibilities by working actively on maturing the data quality of our data.
The team
The Data & Digitalization team acts as a strategic partner to business units by managing the design, development, and maintenance of sustainable and scalable architecture and operating model for data products, aligned with organizational leadership direction.
You’ll be part of our internal Data & Digitalization team which today encompasses 12 team members mainly based at our headquarters in Aarhus. While your core team sits together in Aarhus, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Stibo’s global organization — from Finance and Product to Commercial teams in Europe, the Americas, and APJ — giving your work real global reach and impact.
What you bring
You bring a strong background in data analytics, ideally with exposure to data engineering or BI development — and you combine that with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the team and the business.
You excel in taking initiative instead of waiting for direction, you drive change and see things to the end, you feel accountable for the team’s results. You act purposefully and take ownership. You are intuitive in seeing things through, and you excel in reframing a challenge into an opportunity or a system-level improvement.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in data engineering or strong technical BI experience, who enjoys engaging with business and driving alignment.
Furthermore, you have:
5+ years of experience from a similar role in a larger or enterprise environment.
A strong background in data analytics with exposure to data engineering or BI development.
Hands-on experience with Python, for data processing, notebooks, machine learning SQL, semantic modeling, and an understanding of backend BI architecture.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms.
Knowledge of the Kimball school of data modeling and best practices for building sustainable data models.
